Images 2 Impress

Our featured artist, Rino Masaro, was born in the small fishing village of Port Credit, Ontario.  Rino has appreciated the natural beauty that surrounds us since a very young age, when he chose hobbies such as bird watching, rock collecting and gardening.

Fortunately for many of us, Rino’s gift for creative observation gently landed upon his interest in photography 31 years ago.  Driven only by his love of nature, Rino has been able to capture what only his eye can see and translate them into images that we all can  enjoy and appreciate. 

Rino’s accomplishments have not gone un-noticed.  Early on, the Canadian National Geographic journal awarded him the “Grand Prize” for his impressive “Mergansers in the Mist”.  This one photograph was chosen from approximately 4,000 entries.

As a current member, and past president, of the “Trillium Photographic Club of Burlington”, Rino is distinguished as a “Master Photographer”. Trillium is rated as one of the top photographic clubs in Canada (Canadian Association of Photographic Art).  He is a frequent mentor and photography judge in many contests and photo clubs within Ontario.

                 Ø      1988 - Grand Prize - Canadinan Geographic Magazine.

Rino currently lives in Garibaldi Highlands, B.C. Canada with his wife , Louise.  Rino has four grown children,  and seven grandchildren.  Rino continues to find naturally occurring beauty in his surroundings, which translates into his positive attitude on life.
